Coastlands hotel

I had the worst experience in this hotel. According to my understanding reception area is suppose to be the most pleasant part of the hotel because how you're welcomed at the reception it gives you first impression of how your stay will be.

08/07/2023 me and my fiance walken into coastlands hotel to book a room for the night after a long drive to Durban from Jhb. Got to the reception area we were helped a lady named Veronicam, E she was so cold the way she treated us i felt like she belittled us. It's as if she didn't even want to assist us. It was as if we were a charity case. My fiance asked her that can we book a room for 2 adults and a 3year old child, she gave us the price , than we said we taking the room. She requested for my fiance's id to book the room we didn't have it with us she than said we can't book. The lady never gave us other alternatives its as if she just wanted us to walk out.

Until I asked her that can I use my ID picture with an attitude she rep**** "you must email it" i told her that's not a problem.

I felt like she just wanted it to look impossible for us to book. She never gave us alternatives i mean we are paying.

Its as if being rude their job requirements
