Coastlands Hotel Umhlanga Poor Service.
I booked into Coastlands Musgrave for the 10th and 11th of March 2021.
The room given to my Mrs who is an online teacher and myself was directly next door to construction due to expanding the Hotel. By all means yes you're allowed to revamp but not at the cost of customer service.
My wife couldn't teach her kids online and a lot of her students are from Saudi Arabia, Riyaad, New Zealand and South Africa. Apologies had to be made to the students parents for the inconvenience caused.
We humbly requested a room change and the very nice front desk lady agreed to move us from room 416 to 502 with us having to pay an extra R150.00 more per night. All good and well no problem. We moved rooms. Settled in. Then waited for the rest to follow.
1. Toilet flusher was broken and refuses to stop flowing until you have to beat down the flasher.
2 istinga/ Toilet tap was leaking profusely.
3. The telephone was semi broken.
4. The furniture had burn marks on it.
5. The bedding also had cigarette steins.
6. The basin water refused to flow easily..
7. The bedding had bad stein marks throughout.
8. Previous guests hair fibres were noted on fresh towels as well as on the inside of the pillow case
9. Coastlands should have never charge me for the mover it self.
10. There were just 2 cakes available for desserts.
