Corana virus make coastal safari keep half of our deposit not Fair we want the other money back

We had a booking at Leentjies klip langebaan ordered trailer and extra equipment from Coastal Safari. Leentjies cancel due Corona virus when we cancel coastal safari he insisted on keeping 50% of deposit I explain that I want my refund 100%as leentjiesklip are giving my 100%refund. I advise him about Lock down and that we cannot go nowhere He still insist he will deduct 50% of our deposit that will be R750 I feel it is unfair to take the 50%deposit because it is not our fault it is because op pandemic
