Zero Accountability – Avoid Coastal Couriers

Coastal Couriers failed dismally in handling a shipment from Namibia to Cape Town. When the consignment ran into problems with customs, I was not informed at all — I only found out after chasing them myself. From that point on, Coastal Couriers took no responsibility, provided no communication, and made no effort to resolve the situation. Months later, the matter is still unresolved, and I have had to pay out of pocket to get someone else to try and fix the problem. Once an issue arose, Coastal Couriers simply went silent and washed their hands of goods entrusted to them. If you value your shipment, avoid this company. Rather use a courier that communicates, takes responsibility, and supports their clients when problems arise — Coastal Couriers does none of these.
