Pathetic Service
On the 21st March 2016, I went to CNA at the East Gate Mall to have a singing Barney Toy exchanged or sent for repairs as it would just stopped playing the recording halfway through. I spoke to an employee by the name of Desiree and explained the situation to her and also showed her the proof of purchase which is dated 29th December 2015, she insisted that they cannot return or send the item for repairs as they don't cover those items. Desiree then called her Manager Bridget who gave me the same response, after explaining to them that my son is 6 months old and that he could not have broken the toy, they responding saying that they will call the person who provides them with the Barney Toy. I never received a response from them. I then took the Barney to the CNA store in Sandton City, they exchanged it without any hassle. The type of service received from the staff at East Gate is really pathetic, they made no attempt to assist only came up with excuses.

We have escalated the complaint to the C.N.A East Gate Mall management to address as our valued customer is not happy that the store staff members not willing to assist our valued customer , which resulted in our valued customer being assisted by the C.N.A Sandton branch, this is as per the post sent to us. A reference number for the formal complaint logged on your behalf is as follows ***/GO. The store management will make certain that this kind of incident does not re occur and provide the necessary training for our staff members. It is feedback from customers like you that will ensure that we will continue to maintain the high standard of service that you expect of us.
