Non delivery and bad service
I had 3 really bad experiences with CNA:
1. My son's birthday was on the 3rd of December. I bought him a PS4 on the Black Friday sale. Delivery was given as 3-5 working days. On Tuesday I phoned to find out what the progress was, the feedback I received was that it was on it's way.
By Thursday I was getting very nervous as I received no feedback on my emails and the status still showed as Picking. At no stage was I told that the order would be delayed.
On Friday morning I phoned again and was told that the item was out of stock. This I found totally unacceptable as I had paid for the item the previous week so how could CNA sell something that they do not have stock of?
Again I got no feedback. As I could not talk to the online team directly I phoned the Edcon head office and was put though to an online agent. He again told me that there was not stock available and that it would probably be another week or two for delivery to take place.
At no stage did anyone tell me what the status of my delivery was, until the day that I actually needed the item. This was for my son's 16th birthday, so I could not delay the delivery.
I asked the agent to source me another item because I basically felt like CNA stole my money. They sold me an item they did not have in stock and never communicated this to me until the last day it was supposed to be delivered . And only because I complained.
The agent did find me an item, but I had to drive to Rivonia CNA to pick it up.
2. I had a CNA voucher which I planned to spend for Christmas gifts. On the day that I purchased the gifts, I was told that the voucher was not accepted as some of the items were on promotion. Once again, no where did it state anything like this.
3. This was also a really bad experience. I bought my son a PS4 game for Christmas. It was sealed and wrapped. When he opened the gift there was no game included. The sales person had sold me the demo box instead of the game. Obviously this was really disappointing for my son and needless to say, I was livid.
This is totally unacceptable in a retail environment and would like to bring it to CNA's attention. Their service has been nothing less than shocking.
