Frustrated CNA customer
In July 2018 my husband purchased a Mobicel switch phone for me at CNA. 24 December 2018 the kept on saying emergency calls only, next day i found out my sim is faulty. i bought a new sim insert it in the phoned cell c to do a sim swop. when the phone went on it requested a password. i never had a password. i tried everything but the phone wouldnt unblock, i wiped the phone numerous occasions but no change. 30 DEC 2018 i took the phone back to CNA Garden Route Mall to send it away for repairs. 8 Jan 2019 my husband gets a call to say the password doesnt fall under the warranty and cell c will charged me to fix the phone. 9th Jan 2019 i went into CNA spoke to the guy that works with the cellphone, he explained to me everything he told my husband and he said if i reject the quote they will still charge me a rejection fee. He said i must give him a week and he'll get back to me. i didnt hear of him again until i made contact with him on tuesday 29 Jan 2019, he said the phone i will receive next week because he got a message to say they received the phone. Yesterday 31 Jan 2019 he phoned my husband to say that my phone has been declined due the expensiveness of just opening the phone. Now im very unhappy because CNA for the 2nd time cannot let there customers walk out with a smile. What causes my unhappiness is the password has got nothing to do with me, after a month they decline the phone, they phone is under warranty if i take it to the local repair shops the warranty falls away. What must i do with a phone that i cant do anything with. The frustration is they didnt even attempt to see what they can do to help me. its straight away just money. its upsetting because CNA just cant do anything to help you. Why must i pay for a phone thats still under warranty? Why after a month i get feedback they declined my phone without attempting to see if they can help me? im very very very frustrated with CNA/CELL C.
