Disgusting service - CNA refuses to refund us for a defective/ ********** phone they sold us

I purchased a gold Samsung J7 from the Three Rivers CNA on the 28 January 2017. The salesperson took the phone out of the glass display case and put it in the Samsung box, issued the SIM card and I paid and left. Upon trying to start up

the phone I discovered both sim slots did not read ANY SIM Card. Returned the phone to the store the following week and was told they cannot refund me for the phone, they have to send it to Vodacom for repairs. When we received the phone back from repairs, the SIM issue was resolved but the phone was running extremely slow and the camera only had the option to take photo's in 5MB, but it states it is a 13MB camera. Found this very odd, so had to return the phone to the store again on the 4th March to see if they can send the phone in again. Spoke to the store manager Patricia and explained that its frustrating that we cannot just get a refund for a repeat deffective cellphone and she told us thats just how it is and there is nothing she can do, as she is in the store and the problem lies with the supplier. On 8 March, Lebo from the branch phoned and said the IME number on the phone does not match the number on the box. I was shocked to hear this all of a sudden, having sent the phone in twice. She suggested that since I already purchased a screen protector for the cellphone, that maybe the man who sold me the screen cover may have given us a different phone (which is absolutely madness to even suggest that - there were 3 of us there watching him when he put the cover on right at his counter, he did not take the phone out our sight for a second). So today my sister phoned the branch (as I have been sitting without a cellphone for almost 2months so its hard to make calls) and Patricia said this is really a problem and she was told that the only way this issue will be resolved is if we

return the cellphone with the same IME number as on the box THIS

IS IS RIDICULOUS...there is only ONE cellphone , the cellphone we purchased at CNA and returned to CNA. How can you accuse your customer like this, its absolutely disgusting that something like this could happen in the first place, never mind trying to put the blame on someone else. CNA needs to thoroughly investigate this issue with Vodacom and Samsung and whoever else on what went wrong with these IME numbers, and in the meantime I think the right thing to do would be to refund your customer the R4000 they spent on this ******* while the issue is sorted. Please get back to with a good reason as to why a customer gets treated like this
