Clarity on Closing Time of your Stores

Dear Sir/Madam, I was highly disappointed with the customer service which I received from your CNA Eastgate Store on Sunday, 7th April 2019. I had to buy a General Ledger book for my daughter which she needed for the following day. Late on Sunday afternoon I realised I had bought the wrong ledger, I had just run around to 2 different stores which did not have them in stock. I called Eastgate at around 5.30 and asked them what time the store closes, they informed me at 6. I have to drive from Edenvale to Eastgate and still find parking which brought me to the entrance of the store at 5.55. The doors were closed and security advised me that they were closed. I showed her my watch which said then, 5.56, she ignored me and walked away. No one was interested in my sale. There was also another gentlemen who also needed to make a last minute purchase and was also sent way. I was then harassed by a certain lady outside your store who was waiting for someone who worked inside CNA. She insulted me and continued to do so sticking up for the CNA staff who were all ready queued up to leave the store. She continued to insult me non stop which caused a huge argument outside your store. (Not a good impression for a customer) or people walking passed. But to get back to the closing time. Please advise what time do your doors close, is it 5.30 so staff can leave at 6. What happens when a last minute customer who is bringing money into Edcon/Edgards/CNA should be chased away in this manner. In tough economic and financial time where so many retails stores are being closed down.... does your manager of you store actually realize what he/she is doing. I also did call from my cell phone outside the store to speak to the Manager, I was told to wait as Manager was cashing up...... I was on hold for a while and then decided to disconnect. I have been a customer for almost 30 years.... never been chased away when making a purchase.
