Barcode scanning

So yesterday morning I called CNA Bedfordview and asked them to please hold on to a LED tv I wanted, it was their last one. Firstly when I got to the store i noticed the way the carton was sealed, being in warehousing myself I knew that the box was opened and sealed again. I then realised that if this was their last one it most probably is the display unit!! How do you sell something as new when it was already in use? Secondly I thought I will let it slide, please take note this is already the 2nd one I am buying, so when we got to the till to ring it up, the person could not scan the the bar-code... for 40 minutes... after 40 minutes I was asked if I can leave my tv licence their so that they can try and sort it out!!!! NO I CANT, petrol is not free, I travelled all the way from Alberton after phoning them and yet I was not helped. PATHETIC
