300% Profit??

In this day and age where the economy is not what it used to be and everyone should save, especially in January and with neccesary stuff like school - ware for the kids that the schools MUST have it's really sad seeing some companies abusing us by mark-up prices.

On this weekend we needed the triangle pencils - thick cind for our three-year-old's school because that was the specific requirement from the creche. We couldn't find a packet of 12 and went to CNA - Riversquare - Vereeniging where we paid R84-00 for a packet of 12 colours. On the next day visiting Pick n Pay Betworthpark - Vanderbijlpark the exact same pencils was available for R35-00.

CNA: Really?? Markup by almost three times?? At pick n pay there was a guy with the "Bic" clothes on representing the BIC product - which we purchased - and even he couldn't believe the difference in price. Pick n pay even have a special whereabout if you purchase the sunday times, any bic product is free.

How much money do CNA want to make out of desperate parents that struggle, like everyone else, in January with school stuff.

It's disgusting to say the least!
