No consideration for pensioners

I was locked in a complex in Benoni this morning 27/04/2019 between 02H45 and 03-40. After dropping my brother in law off after a party. As I got to the gate to get out I entered the code to get out and the gate wasn't opening. The guard on duty came and told me that the keypad wasn't working which was supposed to have been fixed. I tried getting hold of my brother in law and he had already gone to sleep and wasn't answering his phone. I phoned the control room as the guard on duty said he never had a remote to open the gate and let me out. The only other person was my mother who I wasn't going to phone as she is 71 and I wasn't going to wake her up at that hour to come and open. There were three patrol cars that arrived and not one of them were interested in helping. When asked if they had an emergency how would they get in. The one guy said he would phone the ambulance as it's not his job to attend to it. That they would have to use the service gate to get in. I then asked him to please take me to my mother's house to go and fetch the remote to get out. She lives about 1.5km away from the complex. He said no he wasn't allowed to transport anyone in his car. He in no way was interested in helping. I was then forced to phone my mom round 03h30 to bring me the remote. I find it disgusting that a security company who is supposed to have the community's best interest at heart forces a 71 year old women to come out to do their job which they just point blank refused to do. No consideration.
