Untruswothy service by salesman and managers

<p>We live in Pretoria and bought a Volvo car with this dealership. Everything looked good but then suddenly the delivery was a big issue because that was not part of the deal (they knew we were from PTA) Also the temp registration paper date did not add up, issued on the 26th Aug and we received the car on the 3rd Sep and the Offer to purchase was signed on the 30th Aug..... The COR was also done in July and needless to say we had to do it again.</p> <p>We feel that the sales manager Joel and the sales person Cliffy are not trustworthy because they firstly **** about fees for delivery, secondly the delivery date was a big issue. Joel told Johan on Friday 02/09 the vehicle was already on its way to Pretoria and asked us to sign the documents ASAP at the Honda Hatfield dealership. We did not want to sign the delivery note as we did not see the car yet even though the document stipulate that you must first see the vehicle before signing. The FNI-lady at Honda told us that she would not sign for a vehicle that she has not seen, so we decided to wait until we see the car. Then Joel phoned Johan and asked him why the delivery note was not signed and Johan responded that he will not sign for the vehicle before seeing it. Joel then responded that the vehicle will be on its way TOMORROW 03/09. Needless to say Johan then totally lost his cool and told Joel that we are going to cancel this deal, because he felt that Joel was making up stories as he went. </p> <p>We spoke to the dealership in Hatfield the morning of 03/09 and told them about all the confusion surrounding the sale and they told us that they don't deal with Umhlanga because of exactly that reason. That is probably the reason for us signing at Honda and not at Volvo.</p> <p>The money itself is not the issue, even if we feel that we are entitled to be refunded. In the financial service industry there is a clause that they call TCF (treat customers fairly) and we feel that we were not treated fairly. </p> <p>After all this and all the effort doing the COR by ourself, they will only refund us for the COR! The temp registration was only valid for 14 days for our use after paying R300 for that...</p>
