CMH Toyota Umhlanga
I bought a 2017 Fiat Fullback with low kilometers from Toyota Umhlanga. First time i bought a vehicle without seeing it in real life. The sales person confirmed that there was no scratches or dents on vehicle as i could not see anything in the pictures only to find that there was even dents on the load-box. Cmh never assisted with this and i had it repaired on my own account. They simply ignored all question put to them. 2 months later and the clutch needed to be replaced. I approached the dealership CMH who suggested i approach a Fiat Dealership to do replacement. I had gearbox opened to diagnose on my own account. Fiat confirmed that the clutch problem was due to wear and tear and could not be passed as a warranty replacement. I made contact with Toyota Umhlanga once again and the sales manager ensured me that they will assist to some degree with the repairs. I had Fiat carry out the repairs and R14500 later when i approached Toyota Umhlanga they denied ever saying that they offered to assist. I was shocked to say the least. I removed every CMH sticker i could find on my vehicle and even replaced the branded number plate holder. Unfortunately they in another province otherwise i would have taken legal steps against them and they knew this. I want to challenge CMH to respond to this post as i pick up that they dont respond to any complaints on this platform. Absolute shocking and i would not recommend anyone to this dealership.
