Bad service

<p>I recently purchased a brand new Etios Cross from CMH Toyota Umhlanga. I enquired about PDC (Front and Back parking assist). The sales lady advised that it can be done with a company that does all their PDC. So I give her the go ahead to instal the front and back PDC. Monies were paid directly to Toyota and not the company that installed the PDC. At no time during this stage did the sales lady mention to me that there will be a switch for the front PDC. Only when we took possession of the vehicle did she tell us about the switch. When we drove the vehicle the PDC went on for no reason. I called in to complain the next day and she advised me to take the car to the company that installed it. She told me that she did not know that they were putting a switch. As a person selling a product to a client she does not know how the product work, then she should not be selling this product to customer. As a customer I do not know about a switch until the sales person tells me. She obviously did not know the product. She did not take accountability and responsibility for her action. I spoke to her manager who also was not very helpful. He again asked me to take the car to the company to sort out the sensitivity of the PDC. Again much to my inconvenience I had to take the car back to Image Audio, and the owner explained to me that they inform all their customers about the switch due to it being after market installation which the sales lady failed to advise me. I would not have installed the front PDC had she told me upfront about the switch, what a waste of my money . She told me that there was nothing she could do and sounded very irritated with me. Its obvious that she did not know much about the vehicle because she failed to advise us that the car comes with one reverse light, only for me to find that out later. I would not purchase another vehicle from there or even recommend it to anyone or even take my vehicle there for a service.</p> <p> </p> <p>Pathetic service</p>
