Alleged *****

1) when I took my car for a service at 135000km they were very insistent on me changing my brake discs which they say was too thin and was assured they won't last to the next service. I did not believe them as this was the first time I had changed my brake pads. I did not change my discs. 2) at my next service at 150000km, I was told that my brake discs were fine and did not need changing. I also had an oil leak. I was told that the gearbox was leaking and needed to be taken out and was quoted R7000. I then told them that I needed some time to think about it. when I called and refused to repair it. I was then told that it was no the gearbox , but another problem. When I officially complained, I was told that the measuring instruments that were used to measure by brake discs were inferior and they have subsequently purchased higher precision instruments that gave a more accurate reading. With respect to the gearbox I was told that it was *********** artisans. I don't buy these stories and firmly believe it was an attempt at de*****ing me.
