Worse Customer Service - CMH Nissan Pmb

I would like to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service experience I encountered at the dealership Nissan PMB when I brought in my vehicle on Friday, 12th July 2024, for its 20000km service. I handed my vehicle over to Jaryd Muthuraymuthu, as the service manager was unavailable at the time. Firstly, what was supposed to be a standard service which lasts a day extended to a full week, I only received my car back on the 19TH of July 2024. Throughout the week, I had to make multiple calls to get updates, as communication from Nissan PMB was severely lacking and this lack of professionalism is unacceptable considering the trust customers place in their services. I also have recorded lines that can show how many times I have called Nissan Pmb and they have not returned my calls or provided me any feedback. Even more distressing than the service duration is the condition in which my vehicle was returned to me. It pains me to report the extensive damage it has incurred: Scratches on the rear and front windscreen Scratches on all four windows Deep scratches on both side mirrors Deep scratches on the passenger side body Of particular concern is the fact that I had recently invested in ceramic polishing for my vehicle which was done before I sent the car in for a service, an investment which is now effectively null and void due to the damage sustained during the service. I do have pictures of these damages but the resolution on my camera cannot pick them up very clearly and I do have pictures to prove the cars condition that it was in before sending it for the services.

I am very angry about the negligence displayed by the dealership. The damages raise serious questions regarding the care and competence exercised by the service team. As the customer, I entrusted my most valuable possession into Nissans’ care with the expectation of care and responsibility during handling. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a very bitter after taste, and frankly, I believe a non-Nissan dealer would have provided a far more competent and respectful service. I did take my car yesterday to the dealership and spoke to Brandon Morris the workshop manager in which he admitted that the damages were done by Nissan PMB and promised me to have it sorted by 13:30 pm to have it picked up and sorted out but instead at the end of the day after they failed to contact me, and I had to contact them. I was told that the car is not ready for pick up and it would be done today on the 22nd of July 2024, but I received an email today explaining they cannot be liable to sort out my rear windows and they do not think a micro fibre cloth can incur any damages. Brandon’s explanation that microfiber cloths don’t cause such scratches is insufficient, a microfibre cloth can pick up dirt or grit, or even metal filings – and my vehicle was with Nissan PMB for over a week, and I KNOW these damages were incurred at their workshop. As a reputable service centre, they are accountable for the condition that my vehicle is returned to me. I have also emailed the Dealer Principal of Nissan PMB Darryl Govender to inform him about my problem and called multiple times and have not received a single call back or a single response via email. I am utterly disgusted at the customer service Nissan Pmb has to offer their customers and I will never buy a Nissan ever again if this is the type of feedback and responses I get from a pronounced dealer. I originally bought this vehicle directly from Nissan PMB last year in November 2023 and it hasn’t even been a year yet and my vehicle is already damaged by the Nissan PMB dealership. Going forward I will not take my vehicle to Nissan for any service or maintenance as according to the service book and my maintenance plan, an RMI approved workshop is fit to do any work on the vehicle. Take note the dealer principal, service department and workshop manager did not call me back after leaving multiple messages to get back to me so I can receive some feedback about my damaged vehicle. There are now new damages that my vehicle has incurred due the negligence of the dealership due to them keeping my car over night instead of having it fixed as promised yesterday at 13:30pm. The new damages are as follows: The Brake lights are not working after just getting the car serviced. The side mirror that was scratched by the dealership now has a chip in it. The rear windows is now damaged to the point that I have to replace them. The windscreen wiper cover has a loose contact. The driver side passenger door has been damaged to the point where the paint is now out The dashboard has a long scratch on the inside The window rubber on the driver passenger is damaged and loose Bubbles on tint have pin holes to minimize the visibility of the bubbles. Exterior windows have very deep scratches. Side view mirror glasses are scratched badly. Driver side back door has a chip on the paint. Plastic panel is loose next to weather strip. I do not find this acceptable at all and I do not find the “I don’t care attitude” that Brandon, Darryl and Jaryd provide their customers acceptable and this needs to be addressed. I am utterly disgusted and dissatisfied.. Brandon has also informed me that customers leave their vehicles for a service at their own risk so if there are any damages incurred Nissan cannot be liable for this. I made him aware that I will be taking this up to higher management and post it on hello Peter and his response was " okay no problem" this is by the far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with by far.
