where the customer is always treated as a fool

I delivered my vehicle, a 2013 ford Everest , at 07h00 at the dealership( first in line) on Friday 19.02.2021 for a auto transmission oil change and an air bag blower recall. I was told when I made the booking that CMH kempster Ford in gezina, had 4 units in stock and that they would book one for me. At 14h30 i returned to ford to be told that they were waiting for oil coming from Lazarus Ford but the car would be ready by 17h00. I returned at 16h50 to find the vehicle parked in the same spot as it was at 14h30.Someone then moved the vehicle to the hydraulic lift and raised the vehicle in the air. First the mechanic looked at the gearbox and shook his head, he then called the foreman who also viewed the gearbox and shook his head. They then lowered the car to the floor. I then walked in and asked what's up. The foreman said that it would take another two hours to complete the oil change. The workshop manager, proceeded to tell me the process and why it takes so long. At 05h50 the car was done. i asked the mechanic why he was done so quick and he said that they gave such a long time because they didn't have the correct tool to remove the oil plug from the gearbox and that he first had to make a tool. Did I hear right? Ford South Africa, don't have the right tools to work on ford vehicles!!! They also apologized for the recall pump saying that they only had 2 in stock and someone used one the previous day. so where is the other 1 or 3 as said when I booked the car in. This is the second time I have requested the recall and the second time I've been taken for a fool from the same dealership. the first time was at the last service. the service consultant phone me to tell me the v- belts were worn and cracked and had to be replaced. I requested the old belts and upon inspection found nothing wrong with them. the workshop manager again explained to me that the old belts were slipping and he could not tension the tensioners as this would put unnecessary strain on the tensioner bearings. belt tensioners are there to tension the belt, but hell who am i, A maintenance manager with over 30 years experience in numerous production environments and yet the managers at ford are just bull****ting their clients .lastly, I have noticed and told the foreman on my last service that I have noticed that CMH for are not filling the engines up to the full mark on the dipstick when performing an engine oil change. If they just take 250ml from each vehicle they service, can you imagine how much someone is making on the side its just a money making ****. i would be very careful about taking my car to them again
