Deliberately did not disclose Accident damage
Disgusting service from a major dealership such as Ford. I am most disgusted that dealers would not disclose accident damage of vehicle. I was liaising with salesman Hendrik who at no point in out discussions regarding my interest in purchasing vehicle. He was fully aware that I had to travel or make arrangements from cape town to Jhb to collect vehicle. He assured me that the vehicle was in good condition even when I sent him pics to confirm vehicle was not damaged only to find out that vehicle was in an accident once my brother got to the dealership and inspected the vehicle. this is when he pointed out to the salesman that the car is not as per the advert nor as per conversations held with myself and my husband telephonically. I incurred costs for flights to JHb as well as back to Cape Town as the vehicle was not what I had discussed. My total cost of R6000 incurred I would like reimbursed. This includes a R500 holding deposit. Should my brother and his friend not have had knowledge of cars this would not have been picked up and I would have paid over R300k for a car that was accident damaged. The manager on duty Tyrone had a bad attitude towards my brother and his friend and walked away without assisting them. The salesman also committed to collecting them from the airport and when they arrived in JHB they were told to use the Gautrain. disgusted by the lies and deception of this Dealer. Also bad practice to request release forms to be sent prior to client seeing the car. contact me urgently ********** 510
