Poor service and workmanship

I took my Ford Ranger in for my first service. In evening I observed vehicle had picked up an audible squeak after service. Being a long weekend, I brought it in a week later. On the first occasion I had to queue... Simply to give information that was taken over phone when I booked vehicle in the and to sign. This took 20 minutes. My customer service consultant never called/rep**** to me despite emails and leaving message complaining about it issue... Not sure what this consultants purpose is? When I brought vehicle in, I had to go through the same proccess of sitting in queue and waiting to be dropped off etc. ...This was annoying as issue appeared due to service and I did not understand why I needed to queue. Another 20 minutes to do the same thing. I also complained vehicle had a rattle that had become more pronounced recently. I was informed that I might be charged for getting this fixed. I am not sure which is more annoying... The fact that fords build quality is so poor or that they think it's ok to charge to get something fixed when vehicle has done 15000 km... The issue existed before 15000km. I think that there is a lot of lip service about customer service and quality etc. but in reality the workmanship is shoddy and service is poorly thought out. When comparing services and quality of my hilux with this I seriously am reconsidering if my decision to buy my first Ford was a wise one.
