Selling a car that has clearly been in an accident

Very simply - all I aksed for was that I receive a car that did not suffer any accident damage. The consultant confirmed plenty times over the phoen that there was no accident or body work present. Applicatiom approved and when I got there to sign I found the 2010 Accord 2.0i AT had been in a major back and side smash with a lot of paint work and overspray possible. In fact the rear PDC was not even connected probably due to the rear bumper being removed and not rewired properly. The sales agent said that they did a thorough inspection and the car passed every check - clearly not when the PDC was not working. She also said that their reports didnt throw up any accidents under R20000. This accident probably didnt cost that much because the work on the car showed after market welding, over spray pn the beading and corners, clear coat already peeling off - if a reputable dealer like CMH can over look something like this, it is worrying how many cars are being sold to people who are none the wiser. I've asked that the DP contacts me urgently and no correspondence received as yet. The agent was also not very suprised when I pointed out these flaws on the car.
