Incompetency!

Hi Dennis and Francois,

I trust you are well,

Just to recap your telephonic conversation with Tinnus after accepting delivery of the 335i GT yesterday afternoon at approximately 16h10.

Tinnus advised me after checking twice that the boot lid issues has been sorted he had tested it twice checking that it closed and opened correctly while Pieter was present and all seemed in order, Tinnus had mentioned to me that the surrounding area was noisy and could not hear to boot locking mechanism pulling the boot lid in locked position... So after Pieter left and he drove the car around to the alternative parking ground he noticed the computer screen was indicating " please close boot" (see below pictures) of which Tinnus took photos immediately and called me fuming out of anger! WhatsApp Image 2020-01-27 at 16.20.03.jpegWhatsApp Image 2020-01-27 at 16.20.02.jpeg In Tinnus words: "Being furious at the time got out and properly inspect the boot lid I found that after opening and closing it, it is doing exactly the same as why we have returned it (the boot closes but does not do the final locking to lock the boot in, the luggage compartments lights on the inside still remained on and the screen still indicated to close the boot lid).

In Tinnus words: "When I asked Pieter "whether the software update has been done as discussed between Dennis and Rick and that, that was the reason the vehicle only being returned 5 days later than the anticipated 1-2 days as originally arranged and discussed between Dennis and Rick", Pieter then advised me that the extra time was needed to insure that the repairs are done properly and not rushed?!

Tinnus advised Pieter that we agreed that you guys keep the vehicle longer so that the vehicle software can be downloaded and uploaded to the 335i's computer system, which Pieter did not agree with and claimed all he knew was that "as far as his knowledge goes is that only the boot lid lock had to be repaired", and that was as much as he could tell Tinnus along with "that boot lock was only repaired today (27/01/2020)!"

Dennis this is totally and utterly beyond mind blowing (and not a good mind blowing)!

All this time Tinnus and myself have been tormented and ways and means unbearable to stomach AND nothing has is in a better condition than it was before. This has been putting tremendous strain on Tinnus and I, not to even to mention that trouble we have been having fighting with one another about other people/work their ethics.

to further blow the bubble: When Tinnus attempted to lock the car the driver doors lock button on the driver windowsill did not want to retract (locking the door) which obviously now resulted in an unlocked car/door, Tinnus called Francois at the time as you we’re not available and advised him of the problem and that the repair that was suppose to be done has not been i snot working along with this locking issue... Tinnus was so furious as we he and I ended up in a screaming match he eventually ended up locking the door manually left the vehicle and went back to his office.

In Tinnus words: @17h00 leaving work when taking the circle at the exit of the estate all orange lights on the dash appeared and disappeared, when I come to complete stop I also noticed the automatic start /stop function is also not enabling and that the cluster shows the start/stop function with a strike through and was not working, using the the manual enabling and disabling button switching it would still not enable the auto start/stop function, again I called Dennis at this time and answered the phone where I told him how upset and furious I am that now this is also a issue that never existed before.

When Tinnus got home we wanted to moer another because of all this **** happening and the way we were going at one another I saw the windscreen trimming as he drove into the driveway seeing it is missing form the front drivers side! " HOE DE ***???" Het ek myself gevra.

This is completely unacceptable since we been querying this boot problem since last year we have just been ring fenced with continuous promises and excuses!, I know we have given your guys more than enough opportunities to respond/communicate and fix what we have reported being broken. Since the time we reported this the boot problem was only assessed in December which also I has to half forced down your throat to have it looked at. (not to mention the **** I had to go through with BMW Boksburg which stole cash out of my car) not to even mention the Tyre issue, (DO YOU GUYS EVEN CARE? DOES ANY ONE KNOW I COULD HAVE DIED OR GOTTEN INJURED SERIOUSLY IF THAT TIRE HAD BURST WHILE I WAS DRIVING?)

So the following problems previously and now current as raised after taking delivery of the vehicle back from repairs (boot locking issue) and (software update) to solve the power loss of the vehicle in high revs.

1 .Boot not being able to close and open properly, As advised the boot at time closes but does not fully engage the complete sequence off pulling into lock position in order to show that it is now closed . 2. Performance power loss (software up date ,as discussed Dennis you and I agreed an extension for the update to be done and now it seems if the update was it done it messed up and scrambled everything and created more problems of which I am not even sure if it has done due to Pieter's answers to Tinnus. 3. New problem arises after receiving car back for CMH Honda, Driver door does not lock, after several attempts not not locking. This was not a problem when the car was handed over to you guys. 4. Missing Right hand side windscreen trimming/rubber.

This is a very serious matter and really disgusting service that we have been left with and I don’t think that either of you will stand for such service on your own vehicle purchase.

What had to be an exciting fun loving experience to buy a new car spoiling ourselves for our hard earned work and dedication of getting better at what we do and driving around in luxury felling proud of how far we have come has left Tinnus and I angry at the everyone knowing that now one will ever feel about service the way we do.
