Dishonest trading...

I purchased a second hand BMW 320i from Christo Roberts at CMH HONDA PLUS HATFIELD and the service wasn't great since we opted to take our own Finance and not what the dealership provided. I have no idea how the got approval so quick from whatever bank they have a deal with. After all that we didnt complain or anything. After collecting the vehicle on the 15th June 2018. I was leaving to Durban the next weekend and checked to see if the car had all the necessary emergency gear and I seen that there is no lock nut, I called Christo Roberts immediately and he advised he'll let me know. he had no care what so ever. I had to purchase a brand new set from BMW and will provide the slip, because that is what the vehicle should have had. The biggest issue is that when we opened the bonnet paint was peeling off... the vehicle is two months and this is unacceptable ive had the paint shop at my work look at it and they advised that there is no primer which makes me believe that this is a accident damaged vehicle and I wasnt notified and they should take it back...

As per the CPA Imp**** warranty of quality In terms of s56 (read with s55) of the CPA, all goods sold to a consumer are sold with an imp**** warranty of quality, that cannot be contracted out of or revoked. The warranty gives the consumer the right to receive goods that: are reasonably suitable for the purpose that they are intended to be used for, are of good quality, free of defects and in good working order, and will be durable and usable for a reasonable period of time. If goods are found not to comply with these requirements then, for up to 6 months after receiving the goods, the consumer can: return the goods, or get the goods replaced, or get the goods repaired.
