Dishonest and empty promises

I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. I traded in my good, reliable vehicle and was sold a problematic Haval H2 which supposedly had passed COR and all the pre-delivery checks. Upon taking collection of the vehicle I noticed a rattle noise from the engine when I started the car in the dealership. I notified the sales guy immediately and I was reluctant to proceed but he insisted that I take the vehicle and advised that the noise should go away. As I drove off, not even 1km away, the noise got worse. I drove back to the dealership and informed the salesman of the noise and an error light. He told me that the workshop is closed as it was a Saturday and still insisted that I take the vehicle and they would get it sorted out on Monday. The drive home was **********. I could not select gears at times. The noise just got louder and louder. The wheel alignment was off and one of the tyres kept loosing pressure. As soon as I got home I informed the salesman. The dealership was closed at the time. He advised that someone would collect the vehicle and deliver a courtesy vehicle. I was so afraid to continue using the Haval. I tired but the noises got so bad that I had to once to pull off coz I thought something was about to break. The vehicle was collected 2 days later and inspected. I was told that the clutch was a problem and that they would have it replaced and back to me in a day or two. My argument to them was, how did the vehicle pass all the checks and COR with these faults? I received a call once every 2 days from the manager with an update or an excuse for the delay but was being assured that the vehicle will be sorted out. I had to wait 2 weeks to get the vehicle back and in worse condition than it was. The clutch which they had replaced had a really bad shudder to the extent where the entire vehicle vibrates when you take off. The rattle noise was even worse. I was told to run the car for another 1000kms and it SHOULD rectify itself. I drove the vehicle home and it was not fun. I did not feel safe and comfortable at all driving the vehicle and the expected me to still use it for another month or so. I notified the manager immediately and the vehicle was collected the next day again and I was assured that I would get it back the same day. A few hours later I get a call saying that they needed to do further stripping of the gearbox and investigation which could only be done the next week. At this point I had lost all faith with the vehicle and the franchise so I asked the manager if he could cancel the deal and give me back my vehicle which I traded in so I could check elsewhere. He advised that my trade in was already sold. It's now going on week 3. Almost time for my 1st installment and I've only used my new vehicle for 2 days. I don't believe that the COR and road worthy checks are honest. Biggest regret of my life dealing with this dealership. Traded in my good vehicle for a piece of trash.
