Cancelation of membership

I've signed up for a travel club membership with leisure travelers club for discounted vacation and hotel staying, now when I want to travel the prices are expensive and different to the agreement. I've decided to cancel and was told i cannot cancel before paying for my membership subscription which I pay yearly. I was forced to pay this year and told I can only cancel after paying my yearly subscription which I did but now the don't want to cancel with the hope that I will still pay next years premiums.
