Bad Service with Club Leisure

I have contacted club leisure on several occasions since last year 2019 to cancel my membership, i was asked to pay a penalty fee which i did then the struggle for them to release me from their contract started. I ultimately spoke to a lady called Reshma Naidoo who seemed willing to assist. After many back and forth e-mails she send me a letter stating that i don't owe them anymore however she did not update my credit bureau and now my credit is now affected negatively...
