Yoghurt expired way before expiry!!

Hi My husband bought the 6 pack C***** Classic Yoghurt for the kids end of July 2020. Production date states 25 July 2020 and expiry date is 23 September 2020, funny enough 4 of those 6 packs we all expired, they looked like mash mixed with water. Is it that Makro put old stock on their shelves or what as we always buy from Makro. It's so sad because we want to give the kids but are so skeptical to even open them, we have to look underneath to determine if it's good enough for the kids or not.
