Job ********
There is someone in HR that is giving out our private information to job ******** at C*****.
I had app**** for a receptionist position in Nelspruit. I got a phone call from *** saying that I will be called in for an interview as I meet the job requirements. A week later I received an email : 12 September 2019
Dear Nxumalo Ziningi
Thank you for taking the time to apply to Receptionist post. We really appreciate the effort you put into this. We received and have reviewed a specific number of applications.
After reviewing them thoroughly, we felt that other applicants were better suited for Receptionist. At this time, we are declining to move forward with your application.
Best of luck on your job search.
Sincerely, C***** Industries Limited.
Today I received another call from a Mr Ngcobo who is working in HR at c***** from the same number ***. Mr Ngcobo tells me he sees I meet the requirements for the receptionist position and the post has not yet been filled. Therefore if I am still interested I need to call Nomcebo Mthembu who is the HR manager at c***** in Nelspruit to tell her I am still interested in the position. After checking for a Nomcebo Mthembu working at c***** on LinkedIn I find her (pity I can’t attach the profile) then I also check trucaller for her number (+27 (65) ***) and the Number is also registered at Nomcebo Mthembu. So I go through my emails and the same Nomcebo Mthembu had sent that email that stated I wasn’t taken for the position. Oh by the way her email is ***. Sounds legit right? So I call her she “conducts” a telephonic interview then straight after she tells me I have passed the interview and the job is mine BUT because I did not make it for the interview then I will have to pay R12 000.00 to the senior managers because I have gotten the job. She then tells me I should think about it before she sends me my appointment letter and all the necessary documents. So then I called c***** in Nelspruit to ask if there was a receptionist position available the lady tells me no. And I ask to speak to Nomcebo Mthembu at HR. She says a lot of people call wanting to speak to her but she does not work there.
So my question to C***** is if there currently is an investigation at their HR? Because this **** is serious. It puts the company’s image at risk and many South African are getting exploited all in the name of seeking for employment (the same people who are c*****s customers).
I’m happy to provide you with more details.
Thank you
