C*****'s irresponsible drivers

I contacted C***** a few weeks back in regards to my damaged windscreen which was damaged due to a stone that hit it when the C***** truck was driving pass me going the opposite direction on R57 between Sasolburg and Heilbron. I spoke to a lady who said I must send them the following: Description of the incident, Date and time of the incident, Copy of drivers license, Vehicle registration documents, Quotation for a new windscreen, Letter from my car insurance company stating that I will not be claiming for the windscreen. Sent all the documents to the lady after a few emails I was told that C***** will not be liable for any damages incurred. I was then sent an email and I quote "our client deny any liability in the matter - any further legal action will be strongly defended". Why don't they take responsibility for what they did? Why must I repair my windscreen when I did not damage it by myself? I am very disappointed by the manner in which C***** dealt with the matter.
