BAD Cheese

Please don’t allow stores to pack processed cheese next to full fledged cheese! Your Gouda FLAVOURED processed cheese is AWFUL!

On shopping day, the dairy isle at PnP was pandemonium, so looking for the Gouda as usual I followed the shelves from cheddar to what I saw as GOUDA, where the gouda is usually. When I got home and started splitting it up into portions I discovered it was Gouda FLAVOURED processed cheese. Okay, my boo boo, but cheese is cheese, I THOUGHT, we will use it and get the right stuff next time. That was before I discovered how UNUSABLE IT IS!

Never before have I had a cheese that doesn’t melt! I’ve tried toasting it (sandwich press), as I always make toasties and I’ve tried grilling it! It doesn’t melt.

Then what it does in macaroni and cheese is just inedible.

So I spent R210 on a month’s supply of cheese that only my husband will stomach on sandwiches. So now I’m going to have to buy more REAL cheese whenever anyone else wants cheese or something like macaroni & cheese.
