Abdicating Responsibility

On March 19th 2015 I was traveling North along Joe Slovo Drive. While my vehicle was standing still in the center lane a C***** truck, driving in the right hand lane bumped and damaged my vehicle's right hand side mirror. The truck driver stopped and we exchanged details. I have since been in contact with C*****'s insurance representative to whom I have provided my drivers license, vehicle registration, a letter from my insurance company that I will not be claiming from them, three quotes, a drawing of the incident that clearly shows my vehicle standing still, a photo of the C***** truck (Showing the registration number), a photo of their employee's drivers license, and a photo of my damage. At the time of the incident their driver acknowledged he caused the accident. At one stage I received verbal feedback that I needed to prove that it was Not my fault.
