Orthopedic shoes

On the day of arrival, I opened the packet and immediately realized that the quality of the shoes is not as it was marketed namely “premium quality, even pressure distribution, etc for the price paid (R799). They do not even have the slightest bend for a sneaker advertised as an orthopedic sneaker. I emailed them to request a return and was informed that I should return the parcel myself to China as this is where they import it from. I have gone through their terms and conditions and nowhere does it state this condition on return items. When I requested to return it to them in Cape Town, I was informed to courier it via Postnet. Upon enquiry from Posnet, I established that the cost of the courier amounts to R740 based on the address they provided. On my initial email where I indicated that this is nowhere in their terms and conditions, they did not respond. I send another email on Friday 24 June 2022 requesting them to re-consider the stance and provide me with a solution, upon which I still have not received a response. This is the worst example of customer care I have come across in many years. So disappointed at wasting R800
