We bought a Cloud 9 bed (top of the range) just over 4 weeks ago. The very first night, the base on my side of the bed made a noise. Max Mattresses were very efficient and replaced my side of the base the very next day. Well done, Max and thank you.

Another 2 weeks passed and it had - yet again - to be replaced. This time they replaced both sides of the base beds (kingsize's base consists of 2 x 3/4 base beds). The explanation offered from Max Matresses were that due to mass production, the wood is still wet when the bases are manufactured.

Moving to the matress...

It is just over a month now that we've bought our Cloud 9 top of the range mattress and both sides of our matress are sagging. I must say that I was impressed with the service as Max arranged for an inspector of Cloud 9 to take measurements to determine whether we have a valid complaint. The inspector had professional tools to take measurement but before he even started, he could determine by just looking at the matress that it sagged already. After taking the measurements, he confirmed that the bed is not suppose to sag after just a couple of weeks. What the company allows, is 5 % of sagging within the first 2 years.

Well... let's just see what is going to happen. After I've read other complaints on HelloPeter about the Cloud 9 beds, I am not convinced that we bought a good quality mattress.

Watch this space...
