Weave ****** in ICU

On the 16 of September 2019 i was admitted at Botshelong-Empilweni and before signing the admission forms i bwgged the doctor to transfer me to Muelmed Mediclinic he and the lady who helped me sign begged me not to go its a good hospital and even thou my heart wasn't there i chose to stay. On the 19th September 2019 i had operation. After operation i was taken back to the ward. Later on that day they told me they are transferring me to ICU. They took me to ICU, i had a hand bag, overnight bag that was full with clothes and a jean and a sweater that was not on the bag. And i had a curly weave that was not on the bag as well.on our way to the ICU nurses were talking and the was someone who said she like weave and she will take it. When we get to ICU i was in first bed were its inside a room i was alone in that room. They do tranfer and my bags were left on the couch and the weave as well. I couldn't move, i cant even go out of bed and i had a catheter with me so i was just lying there. I slept wake up in the same bed. The is a sister who also came to bath me in that bed. On the 20th i was lying in that bed still and i couldn't do anything and i could see my weave on that couch even my hair. I was just lying there the whole day and night. No visitors who came to visit me only nurses where coming in and out giving me medicine and checking up on me. On the 21 the first sister who came she bath me and ask me to try and get out of bed so that my body can get used to it. She helped me and was sitting on the chair ans when i look at the chair i realise my weave is not there. I asked the sister to check for me she did and it was not there. She ask others and they said they didn't see it but they will ask others. Same say later they took me back to ward. And when i get there i ask soster to ask again about my weave but she came back saying they will check. I was discharged on the 22nd September 2019 and i ask the sisters to check and let me know if they fins it. I went back to hospital for check up and i went to metrone office to ask again she said shes waiting for all sisters who where there to ask them. I ask to talk to Hospital Manager. Which i did and he said they will call me for feedback. I went for another check up and went to manager office to find out and he told me they will contact me. On my last check up i went to his office again and he told me that they checked and afyer their findings the found out that i sign the declaration of my things which yes i did but when am in ICU my things where not in a locker they where just in a couch, i was lying in bed. I couldn't move. Walk. Or do anything. And i didnt know that where my things where the is someone qho can take them. And only if i knew since its a Private Hospital i would have stayed with them in the bed hidding them but i felt safe, he also how many people will claim their things are ****** and hospital nees to pay so they cant compensate me. And my question was how many people are leaving without their thongs ******. And again did i sign so that someone can ***** my things and get away with it because the hospital rules will be on their favour. Ist that the hospital covers for their stuff? I feel i was taken advantage and i was ****** in that hospital bwd. I feel i was taken advantage of my situation that am lying there and i cant do anything. I fewl that the hospital is now coverings for their stuff and since they know we sign when we are admitted they can do what they want.i dont know of that person thought am dying or what was happening when she was taking my weave. I did expect such behavior from a private hospital like Botshelong-Empilweni, and the response of saying we cant help you it really hurts just to think i was lying in that bed and i couldn't do anything and i trusted the stuff that am in safe hands but i ended up loosing my things and only if someone had asked me to take my things and put them safe or if they where in a locker it was going to be better. Imagine you woke up from that sick bed which you where not in control of anything, which you where being bathed and in pains and you realized that your valuables are missing and when you report no one knows and your being told. You signed and there is nothing we going to do. And what if someone comes and claim their things are ****** we can compensate you. How where you going to feel. Its really sad. I feel Botshelong-Empilweni failed me and when i realized how much money i paid and when realized i begged to be transferred to Muelmed Mediclinic since i stay in Pretoria and i was begged not to its a good hospital. But i left crying because my weave was ******. And the thought of saving my money to buy that weave hurts me more. But someone chose to ***** from me taking advantage of my situation. If only i had visitors i wouldn't bother to raise this or when the gave me first response i would have left like that because maybe visitors left with it by mistake. Pitty i never had one.
