Poor Service
In the early hours of Sunday (around 1H20, 8 March) my 2 year old daughter was taken to Clinix Naledi-Nkanyezi Private Hospital by an ambulance because of the close proximity to home, Sebokeng Zone 3. After almost 20 delayed minutes of waiting she could not be attended to before a R 3000 upfront payment was made regardless of producing the medical aid (Gems, Beryl).

I have raised this unfortunate occurrence with the hospital by sending an email (which clearly they chose to ignore because there has been no response to the mail)

I found this a very unfortunate occurrence as it became evident that the Clinix Health Group valued hard cash (as money) than the provision of a service in the health care.

I'm very disappointed because my immediate and extended family have used this facility before hence it was my first preference.

I thought the health fraternity was about preserving lives, evidently with Clinix Health Group this proved not to be the case.

I'm thankful that Mediclinic Vereening was able to save the life and restore my daughter to good health.
