Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Nurse

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unprofessional and disrespectful conduct of a nurse Lemakazi Malindi who attended to me on [05-10-2025] at Botshelong voslorus hospital].

During my interaction with this nurse, I felt mistreated and disrespected. She spoke to me in a harsh tone, dismissed my concerns that im feeling pain while being stiched even made remark that she ddnt send me to get hurt ,failed to treat me with the dignity expected in a healthcare At the end of our interaction, she even said to her colleagues outloud, “we are finally done there,” in a very rude and unprofessional manner. I even told her it's rude to make me feel that way and even asked to assisted by someone else she makes me feel unwanted then she said I've been the problem all along.

As a patient, I expected to be treated with care, respect, and compassion. Instead, the nurse’s behavior left me feeling humiliated and disregarded. This is not acceptable in a healthcare environment, where patients are often vulnerable and rely on staff for both medical and emotional support.

I respectfully request that this matter be investigated, and appropriate steps be taken to ensure that no other patient has to go through a similar experience. I would also appreciate being informed of the outcome of this complaint.
