It has been six months and I am still traumatised by the level of service from the paediatrician to who claimed that my baby was sick but never gave me any test results. I gave birth on the 7th of July 2021 and only got to see my baby the following day after 12pm in nicu with no1 telling me what was wrong with my baby. The doc told me on the 4th day that they were going to give baby antibiotics and when I asked what for he told me that with babies they give antibiotics even before they get results from the lab, which did not make any sense, and to this day my baby has never been sick or had any problems eating as they claimed that she was not feeding and had problems breathing. I only got some of the test results on the day I decided to discharge my baby self because all that the doctor was saying was garbage to me and there was no way I was going to let them give my baby medicine for an illness that they do not know!!
