Clinix Tshepo Themba paeds ward the worst I've seen

Terrible stay in the paediatric ward - Tshepo Themba Hospital from 17th May till 20th May 2018. All went well from casualty, until the ward. My nine year old admitted in a kiddies bed that's so high up, no foot stools provided. He'd have to have his drip disconnected and reconnected to make use of the loo. The nurses wouldn't wash their hands when assisting, they wouldn't even clean the drip port on all occasions. The call bell at 1 point was left to ring for >5 min, after 15 minutes he'd been back from the loo. No explanation or excuse given. She just came in thoroughly unimpressed by her facial expressions and reconnected my child's drip unhygienically so. I did however try to confront this substandard practice with 1 en. It was very unsafe to have my child admitted here, I feel. He was exposed to possibility of having a prolonged stay due to unhygienic practices or falls (high bed cot bed). I would never wish to have any of my family members admitted here and wouldn't recommend this hospital to nobody unless their visit will only be in the emergency dept on weekdays. Not even in a public hospital have I seen such. On morning of discharge, I walk in. Find nurses on station, greet them and proceed to my child's room. 20 minutes later I take his bags and prepare to leave, only then am I asked if I'd signed the discharge papers. Nobody avavilable bothered to be of assistance. I'm happy to be out of that hospital. It's service has even deteriorated further since 5 years ago. I'm a very unsatisfied unhappy mother.
