Severe allergic reaction- Superdefense SPF 20
In the past year, I've noticed clique products are not as effective- specifically the Superdefense moisturiser. At first i thought it was not the right match for me- my skin became flaky and my eyes were watery. In Jan I purchased a new tub of the Superdefense SPF 20 cream, and after two weeks I had eczema on my eyelids. My eyes also were watering. I stopped using the cream. By the fourth day it was gone, my skin had never felt this healthy before. I put the cream aside and forgot about it. A few days ago I went away, and brought the cream thinking I needed a moisturiser with an SPF. I offered my sister some -again thinking of the SPF. We went home and she complained that her skin was blotchy. We wrote it off as sun burn. next morning she called me in a panic, told me her face was swollen and she could hardly see through her eyes. she had puss seeping through her pores. She rushed to the emergency room and the doctors put her on a drip, tested her blood and gave her large doses of antihistamines and cortisone. Doctors confirm it it was because of the cream. In 24 hours the swelling had gone down significantly. I have complained to the store and on the Facebook page- NO RESPONSE
