Inferior quality Products

I started purchasing Cliniques hypo allergenic range of make up. Pricing for Clinique products tend to be in the high end range. The wind up mechanism for the eyeliner pencil and brow pencil is of very poor quality.It feels like throwing R700 in the bin, because none of these items are fit for purpose. When I tried to return the product to the retailer I was told that I needed to produce my slip. I wonder who keeps their slips after they have made a cash payment for makeup??
