False adverting

<p>on the 11 May 2017 Clinique was at my work place (Momentum Health) in centurion to advertise there products. On this particular day I was told by the sales consult and the manager that if I purchase anything on that day I will receive 20% off my next purchase. So as you would know I purchased some goodies then I was told that I will receive a sms after seven working days confirming my 20% off.</p> <p>Then on the 22 May 2017 I returned to Edgars Centurion Mall and made my second purchase and when I asked about my 20% off they said that they will take it up with the manager and get back to me. I received two calls and on both the calls they were finding out if I had received my sms or not. </p> <p>It’s been a month now and I still have not received my sms with my 20% off discount. This is very disappointing and it’s false adverting at its best. I will be taking this up further with the consumer act department. </p> <p> </p>
