Clinque product swapping and bad customer service

Advised customer service that i purchased a mascara which had been swapped with an old mascara and put back in the box, which i discovered when i opened it at home. The level of service from customer complaints was disgraceful. Not once an apology, just take it back and change it, after fighting with the previous call which said its my fault i should have checked the box first before i left the store. Like Clinique is a ba*****t bargain cosmetic wholesaler! Unfriendly customer service makes you feel like you are imposing for complaining.
