I Played R4000 deposit the months payment for rent and a R250 key deposit ( I give them a exstra set of keys back) for a two bedroom flat on the second floor in this complex. Stayed there for almost two years the first year without a contact I was employed and hardly stay there because of my work. If payment is late and late is before the 7th of the following month you must pay a penalty. In my second year I signed a contract for a year only to be told a month later I'm no more employed so I give a month notice and move out even before the time. Place clean nothing damaged. On the day of me moving out it was raining and I slip and fall down the stairs. I phoned to report it. The caretaker not interested and said it's not going to help my the report it to the Body Corp. The tiles on the stairs is not the correct tiles. I have injured myself badly. Now it's time to get my deposit back also sorry you brake contract so you lose your deposit. Well this is were I start phoning the agents and they also refuse to give my a number and then out of the blue I received R1000 four months later. I keep on sending messages to the caretaker for the rest but with no response. The promises that was made of renovation every time the premium go up never see the light. The complex is there for almost 8 years and is still in the same paint. I do not mind my injury I want my deposit back or I move in for the remainder of my contract and then they must get me out without paying.
