World class experience at Clifftop Lodge

My children and I spent 2 nights and 3 days at Clifftop Lodge in the Welgevonden Reserve during April and had the most wonderful time.<br> <br> The location of the lodge is something quite spectacular - perched on the side of a mountain with a river flowing noisily at the bottom of the gorge, and with magnificent views of a sheer cliff across the gorge. It really feels like you have escaped from the world at large.<br> <br> The rooms were superb, the attention was a perfect balance between engaging and professional, the food was mouthwatering, service levels were exceptional, and the game drives with Sebastian were memorable.<br> <br> We flew in by helicopter as they have two raised helipads at Clifftop and I was amazed that outside of the lodge owners, only 1-2 helicopter flights come in per annum.<br> <br> If you're looking for a soul cleansing escape to the bush where you truly are able to leave the world behind you for a few days, then consider Clifftop Lodge.
