Your negligence and lack of empathy is unbelievable

It's a month and a half later and this poor orphaned your man is still not paid out, and clientele is not bothered, the call centre agent don't even recognise language barrier, they call him I get it but if he cannot understand the language how will he know where to start, he was advised of his policy claims request of 18-04-2016 and has sent all relevant documents, 1 we are calling from my personal cellphone with by the little airtime I have and we speak to agents that keep repeating the same process which has demotivated this boy so much he has asked us as neighbours to intervene and assist, I was told they can't speak to me they want to speak to the policy holder, but clientele failed to recognise that this boy doesn't know where to begin and is confused as ever, only today he was advised that the fax he sent of his statement was not clear, they didn't even have the courtesy to call him back and assist in his desired language zulu, instead they confused him even more, I have a call recording of this call and it's saddening when I listen to it, Zuki the agent who was assisting was so passive and scattered at the same time, for a minute it was as though we had called a ***** call centre? ! This is no ordinary case this child needed you people and no one pitch to save the day like they claim on TV, this boy is a beneficiary and to date has not been paid out and no clear explanation is being given. Now that is the SA we live in where even the fostered or orphaned young people are being neglected. # appalled and disappointed to say the least

Thank you for raising your concerns and bringing this matter to our attention.

We understand your frustration and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

As per the conversation with the client services consultant and the claimant on 21/04/2016, the claim was unfortunately unsuccessful owing to an un-paid premium in the month that the insured died.

We also confirm that even-though the premium for the month of March was received after death, this occurred outside the 15 day grace period afforded to all clients from the debit date.

The March premium together with the April premium received was subsequently refunded to the main policy insured on 06/06/2016.

We trust you will find this in order and assure you of our best intentions.

Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact us again.

Kind Regards

William Botha
