Unauthorised debit order date

Good Day

I have a complaint against Clietele Life. I called them asking for a quote for a funeral cover and a savings account and i gave them the clear date on which the dabit order must go off. My husband dtook the very same policy however the information that was given to him was different from mine . I called them to verify and i was told that they going to investigate and listieni to the recording , of which they did and they apologised for omitting information. On top of tthey went and debited my account on the 24 of May 2017 after i told them to debit on th 1st of June if not mistaken . To cut the long story short . I have bank charges fo R400 caused by that unauthorised debit date. I wrote them an email on the 2nd of June and attached my bank statement and they told me that they not going to pay me. I wrote back on the 6th complaining again and telling them its not acceptable and they still have not responded. On the 21st of June ia sked for feedback an still to no avail.

Your assistance in thsis regard will be highly appreciated.

Best regards,
Thank you for raising your concerns with us.
As per our discussion , we have addressed your concerns regarding the bank charges incurred due to the early tracking. It is important to note NAEDO is a premium collection mechanism which allows the tracking of a client’s account for a period of time ( before the due debit date) to obtain the due premium. This should not inconvenience our clients with any penalty charges unless the premium is still not honoured at the end of the tracking period. This billing mechanism has been of great benefit to our clients as it ensures that your policy is solidly in force and significantly ensured regular cover.
As per our discussion we have provided you with the relevant solutions to all concerns raised and you have confirmed that you are satisfied with the outcomes.
We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused in this regard.
Thank you for providing us the opportunity to resolve your query however, should you wish to contact us again please do not hesitate to do so.
