Unauthorised debit order and refusal to cancel via email

I signed up for what was promised to be a free trial for vouchers, but Clientèle immediately loaded a debit order and took my money without consent. I have emailed them twice to cancel it immediately, but they keep replying with automated emails demanding that I call them. I require this policy to be cancelled immediately in writing and my money refunded. I will not call a call center to cancel an agreement I did not fully consent to

Thank you for the escalation. Please note that I require all further correspondence and confirmation of my policy cancellation to be sent to me via email, as I am currently writing university exams and am unavailable for lengthy phone calls. I look forward to receiving written confirmation of the cancellation and my refund swiftly

Clientèle sent an SMS asking me to call Rhandzu Manganyi regarding reference number CER812213. I attempted to resolve this on their official WhatsApp channel, but their system requires a Self-Service PIN which I was never provided. As stated before, I am busy with university exams and require the Market Conduct team to process this cancellation immediately and confirm it in writing via email or on this platform

Dear Rinae M,

Thank you for raising your concerns and bringing this matter to our attention.

The sales process was reviewed and it was found that the policy was sold correctly and you have also authenticated a Debi-Check mandate.

We confirm that Rhandzu Manganyi from our Market Conduct department has been in contact with you to provide the necessary feedback.

You requested to cancel the policy and the cancellation of the debit order process was confirmed.

We trust you find this in order, however, should you wish to contact us again please do not hesitate to do so. Regards, Market Conduct

Clientèle confirmed in writing that my policy is cancelled, but they have left the DebiCheck mandate as 'Approved' and 'Active' on my Capitec profile (Reference: CLIENTELE ***). If money is deducted because Clientèle failed to remove the mandate from the banking network, I will immediately lodge a formal complaint with the FAIS Ombud for an ******* deduction of funds. Remove this mandate from the system immediately.
