Spam, spam, spam, and more spam.

I get constant non-stop calls from Clientele. No matter how much I tell them to stop, they simply will not stop.

At no point have I EVER given them permission to store my personal information, and yet they have chosen to break the law and go against the POPI act and store it anyway.

On top of that, their robotic calls have an option to opt out of future calls, yet they choose to call again anyway. I eventually opted to have a human call me so I can tell them to stop calling me, and yet they have still decided to continue calling me anyway. This has gone on for over a year now, and it needs to stop.

Clientele, you are breaking the law. Stop. Calling, Me.

Dear  Douglas S,  As per your request, we have removed your details from our database.  Kindly note that other companies who receive their information through the same channels may have your details and you could still be contacted for other promotional campaigns. Therefore, to prevent the same from happening in the future, please ensure that your information is listed on the 'Do Not Contact' list.  Please note that you can also follow the below steps to Opt-Out:  Step 1: Go to https://clientele.co.za/ and scroll down. Step 2: Select "Clientele Communications” under "Information" Step 3: Follow the prompts to opt-out of receiving marketing content.  It is important to note that all our suppliers must adhere to national legislation and their data is checked against the national 'Do Not Contact' list hosted by the DMASA. More information on this can be found at www.dmasa.org and you may register to Opt-out by clicking the following link: https://dmasa.org/page/register-opt-out-service  We would like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.  We trust you find this in order, however, should you require any further assistance please feel free to contact us again.
