Please delete my number from your database.

I have been receiving marketing messages from Clientele on my phone. I had enough, i do not want to be contacted for marketing. Please delete my from number from your database. Sections 11 and 12 of the CPA. it clearly states "Consumers have a right to refuse unwanted direct marketing such as telephone calls, sms’s, spam e-mail or letters. Once opted out the supplier is not entitled to continue any unsolicited direct marketing." I am requesting you for to delete my number from your database. And make sure that you delete it in all your business units, Clientele life, legal etc.

We acknowledge receipt of your complaint, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.

As per our discussion , we have addressed your concerns raised. We confirmed that we had requested for your details to be removed from our database and explained procedures to remove your details with other marketing channels.

We explained that your details have been blacklisted from receiving any direct marketing calls and messages with all our affiliates.

We confirm that all our data is received from external suppliers. This data is sourced through multiple channels, namely, Credit Bureaus, Public Domain Information and Data Acquisitions.

As per your request we have since removed your details from our database. However, other companies who receive their information through the same channels may have your details and you could still be contacted for other promotional campaigns. Therefore, to prevent same from happening in future, please ensure that your information is listed on the 'Do Not Contact' list. You confirmed that you have followed the process and removed your details.

It is important to note that all our suppliers must adhere to national legislation and their data is checked against the national 'Do Not Contact' list hosted by the DMA. More information on this can be found at www.dmasa.org

We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused in this regards. You have confirmed that you are satisfied with the outcome and we would like to thank you for providing us the opportunity to resolve this matter.

We trust you find the above in order however, should you wish to contact us again please do not hesitate to do so.

Yours sincerely,
