Pesky ads from Clientele

Having received one too many an sms from Clientele Life, or Legal, or Funeral plan, or H.E.L.P. etc. etc. I started replying to the sms so as to OPTOUT of their ad campaigne THREE times... obviously at my own cost, which adds insult to injury!

But still the messages kept coming!

I got thoroughly fed up. So I rep**** YES to get an agent to call me so that I could lay a formal complaint and ask to speak to someone who could make these smsses go away.

Someone called me back hoping to make a sale. I stated my irritation and got a telephone number that I could call.

I called on 17 May at 10h31 and was transferred to Client Services where I spoke to RUDZANI. She assured me that she could get my cell number to be removed from Clientele's database by 1) sending a request to the IT department (which she did while I held on), and 2) by sending an email to management.

I requested a copy of this email to be sent to me, but this was not possible to do.

I also requested a reference number of the complaint I had just lodged, but this was alas also not possible to get!

In spite of my 4 efforts to rid myself of Clientele, I received an sms from them about their funeral plan on 18 May, and again this morning, 22 May, from Clientele H.E.L.P. ...how ironic!

Please HELP!! How do I get rid of these people?!

I want them off of my personal telephone, and out of my life!

Thanks you for raising your concerns with us.

It is important to note that all out data is received from external suppliers. This data is sourced through multiple channels, namely, Credit Bureaus, Public Domain Information and Data Acquisitions.

As per your request we have since removed your details from our database. However, other companies who receive their information through the same channels may have your details and you could still be contacted for other promotional campaigns. Therefore, to prevent same from happening in future, please ensure that your information is listed on the 'Do Not Contact' list.

It is important to note that all our suppliers adhere to national legislation and their data is checked against the national 'Do Not Contact' list hosted by the DMA. More information on this can be found at www.dmasa.org.

We trust that you find this in order ,however should you require any further assistance please feel free to contact us again.

Dear Vusumuzi, thanks for your effort.

I registered my detail on the 'Do not contact' list, on dmasa.org and it was CONFIRMED by them that I am now registered there.

But alas... on 29 May 2017 I AGAIN received an sms from Clientele Personal Loan, and an sms again from Clientele Personal Loan, just 10 minutes ago!!

Needless to say that this is unacceptable.

HELP PLEASE!!
